Why so darn good? "Amazing breakfast, peaceful location, thoughtful and caring hosts. The owners are very helpful in suggesting sightseeing ideas and restaurants."
Location: "Berryville, Arkansas is a small town just a few miles down the road from the more touristy Eureka Springs. If you don't want the traffic and commercialism of Eureka Springs, you can stay here and just make a day visit."
Rooms: "This is an old home that has been converted into a B&B. They have 2 bedrooms, one bath and a small living room area. It is only rented to one guest at a time so you will have plenty of space to spread out. There is a large yard which is thoughtfully landscaped/decorated; a table and chairs under a large tree (to enjoy a glass of wine or a picnic), and if you ask nicely they will let you feed the chickens out back (which supply eggs for the wonderful breakfast). Also available are a coffeemaker, microwave and supply of coffee/tea/popcorn."
Food: "An amazing breakfast is served each morning (on the covered front porch, weather permitting). During our stay we were treated to homemade egg casserole, homemade breads/muffins, fresh fruit from the local farmer's market, french toast, and homemade jam. The owner even packed us a "to go" breakfast on the day of our departure. Every evening we returned to a plate of homemade cookies left in our room."
Vibe: "Feels like you are staying at your Grandma's house! The owners have restored much of the house to its original design."
Keep in Mind: "Cash or check only."
